Order Process & FAQ
All of our products are produced with Printful, a print-on-demand service. We have chosen to go this route to make our fundraising process easier while offering more exciting products in a manner that is environmentally friendly. We are excited to offer a wide variety of A New Leaf and Pip & Pickles Farm gear so you can share your love for our school and represent our mission wherever you go.
When you place your order, it will be created on-demand and shipped directly to your home. Turnaround time is typically 5-10 days.
FAQ
HOW IS THE PRICE OF EACH ITEM CALCULATED?
In order to accurately account for shipping costs, we have adjusted the cost of each item to include the cost of shipping. That means the price you see on each item is is exactly what you will pay to receive it – no added shipping!
HOW MUCH OF THE COST OF THE ITEM GOES TO THE PTO?
It varies per type of item, but approximately 25-30% of each sale goes to A New Leaf PTO. The rest covers production costs and shipping.
WHAT IS PRINT-ON-DEMAND?
Print-on-demand is a process of creating products in which each item is created on a per-order basis, meaning it is made specifically for you after you have purchased it. This allows us to offer a wider variety of products, and raise money in a more sustainable way.
IS PRINT-ON-DEMAND MORE ECO-FRIENDLY?
Absolutely! Print-on-demand products are printed using direct-to-garment, or DTG, methods, meaning it is more sustainable than screen printing. Printing items one at a time avoids overproduction and textile waste. Printful partners with Kornit, whose printers produce almost zero wastewater and use less energy, lowering the carbon footprint.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Since items are being sent directly from the manufacturer, they will be shipped to your home. No coordinating for school pickup necessary!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
All orders typically printed and shipped within 5-10 business days after the order has been placed. U.S. orders should arrive 3-5 business days after items have been shipped, depending on the shipping speed you choose. International shipping may take anywhere from 1-12 weeks. You will receive a shipping notification after your order has shipped (check your spam folder if you do not receive one).

DO THE SHIRTS FIT TRUE TO SIZE?
All of our t-shirts are unisex sizing, which means they run slightly larger than typical women's shirts and slightly smaller than typical men's shirts. We recommend ordering your normal size for a regular fit or sizing down for a more fitted look.

CAN AN ORDER BE CHANGED?
An address cannot be edited after it has already shipped. If you contact the shipping service, they may be able to help you alter the address depending on the stage of the shipping process. If an address is incorrect and a package cannot be delivered, it will be returned to us. Upon receiving the returned package, we will issue you a store credit. If you would like the items shipped to the correct address, please place a new order.
If you need to edit your order after you have already placed it, we will do everything we can to edit it for you, but if your order has already gone into the fulfillment process, it cannot be changed. Please double check your items before placing your order.
CAN AN ORDER BE CANCELED?
If an order has not yet entered fulfillment, we are able to cancel your order. However, because our items are printed at time of order, we are not able to cancel an order once production has begun.
WHAT ARE YOUR RECOMMENDED CARE INSTRUCTIONS?
For t-shirts and printed items: Machine wash cold, with item turned inside out. Dry on low or hang to try to prevent any cracking of the image. Other item-specific care instructions can be found on some of the listings.
WHERE AND HOW ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED?
The shirts are Bella + Canvas brand, and they are manufactured in the United States. Information about other items may be found on the product page.
The sewing process is the only process that may take place outside of the United States. However, Bella + Canvas only works with factories that have the same high ethical and environmental standards as their Platinum WRAP Certified U.S. factory, and they work to ensure everything is sweatshop-free and above board – meaning fair wages and pleasant working conditions.
